  • "You People" is an expression very often used in American movies: someone says it, then someone else, usually black, repeats, like "You "People"?!?" it and everyone seems shocked, then the first one apologizes. It is in almost every second US movie that I've seen recently. This expression is not found in dictionaries or other encyclopedias, and for a foreigner such as myself it would be intersting to understand what exactly is the meaning, eventually its' origin and history.
