Eisner Award

Der Eisner Award (auch Will Eisner Award) ist eine der wichtigsten amerikanischen Auszeichnungen für Comic-Zeichner.
Der Preis wurde erstmals 1988 vergeben als Nachfolger des Kirby Awards. Der Namensgeber des Preises, Will Eisner, war bis zu seinem Tod 2005 regelmäßiger Teilnehmer an der Zeremonie.
Der Preis wird jährlich auf der Comicmesse Comic-Con International in San Diego, Kalifornien verliehen. Lediglich 1990 gab es keine Verleihung.
