KFMA is an modern rock radio station that serves Tucson, Arizona. KFMA broadcasts on the frequencies of 92.1 MHz and 101.3 MHz. Although KFMA is licenced to broadcast from Green Valley, Arizona (a southern suburb of Tucson) on 92.1, the signal is sometimes hard to pick in all areas of the Tucson Metro Area due to distance reasons and the fact that KFMA has an ERP of 50000 watts. Because of this, it has a translator located in Tucson that broadcasts on 101.3

[edit] History
In the early 90s, the station was sold to Bill Yde, who eventually sold it Lotus Radio, its current owner.
Between 1992 and 1993, it was KTZN, which played a Rock and Adult Contemporary mix.
In late 1993, KTZN became 92.1 and 101.3 The Echo with the call letters KEKO. As the Echo, it was an Adult Album Alternative station. In the fall of 1995 the flip to KFMA and alternative rock was made.
KFMA began streaming audio on the internet again in 2003. The link can be found here
