I note the disappearance of your colourful and interesting userpage with dismay and hope to see it (or a variant or even another glimpse into SPUI-world) again one day, alongside your return to editing. Regards. --Alf melmac 20:49, 15 November 2006 (UTC)
Yeah, I noticed that your big and colorful userpage is gone too. Maybe all can see your colorful userpage again someday.

Orange Ridge, DeLand and Atlantic Railroad
I've added the "{{prod}}" template to the article Orange Ridge, DeLand and Atlantic Railroad, suggesting that it be deleted according to the proposed deletion process. All contributions are appreciated, but I don't believe it satisfies Wikipedia's criteria for inclusion, and I've explained why in the deletion notice (see also Wikipedia:What Wikipedia is not and Wikipedia:Notability). Please either work to improve the article if the topic is worthy of inclusion in Wikipedia, or, if you disagree with the notice, discuss the issues at Talk:Orange Ridge, DeLand and Atlantic Railroad. You may remove the {{dated prod}} template, and the article will not be deleted, but note that it may still be sent to Wikipedia:Articles for deletion, where it may be deleted if consensus to delete is reached. Gronkmeister 15:11, 20 November 2006 (UTC)
- You're kidding, right? If anything, this notice should be placed on Wikipedia talk:Wikiproject Trains. SPUI is long gone. —lensovet–talk – 02:35, 21 November 2006 (UTC)
Metro Wiki
I've noted that you put in a lot of data on NYC subway lines. (Though recently you seem to be on a highway-oriented track there!) I wonder if you'd be interested in helping me.
Several months ago someone established a Metro Wiki, intended to be a Wiki about subways, and then did nothing about it. A couple of days ago, I discovered it, noticed that it's been totally inactive, and asked for (and got) authorization to take on the Wiki as my own. For now, it really just needs to get all the important articles copied from Wikipedia, and links to things that really don't have any business in a transit-oriented Wiki either removed or modified so they'll point to the article in Wikipedia. With time, the articles may be further edited so they will not be identical to the ones in Wikipedia, but that's not an immediate goal. Would you be interested in helping with this task? If so, you can reply to me or just begin copying articles.
I hope to see you on //metro.wikia.com -- BRG 21:41, 22 November 2006 (UTC)
SVG signs
Which program do you use to save signs in SVG? --Kitch (Talk : Contrib) 21:16, 23 November 2006 (UTC)
- If you read the SVG files, there's a comment that says "Generator: Adobe Illustrator 12.0.0". I wonder how SPUI managed to make all the signs... there are SVGs for every interstate number from I-0 to I-999. --Samuel 69105 00:17, 10 December 2006 (UTC)
Railroad articles
You may want to comment on an AfD which has been filed on some of Florida's defunct and never-built railroads. The debate may be found here.
Dear troll
I had heard that you'd given up on contributing, and was pleased beyond measure to see your name roll across "recent changes." Pointless template messages waste lots of time, and hopefully this one has both wasted some of yours and encouraged you to continue your disruption editing. - 152.91.9.144 04:09, 27 November 2006 (UTC)
{{unreliable}} on DM Ashura
I removed the tag because I believed that the unreliability problem had been solved at the time. All of the {{fact}}s do not need to have been addressed for the tag to be removed. --Coredesat 08:48, 4 December 2006 (UTC)
Warning
You are in danger of violating the three-revert rule. Please cease further reverts or you may be blocked from editing. --Coredesat 09:25, 4 December 2006 (UTC)
Re. Your semi-protection of DM Ashura
Thank you for contacting me. After analysing the situation again it became obvious that there's an actual edit war erupting in the article due to content dispute. At the moment I am more inclined to fully protect the article rather than unprotecting it. I suggest that you discuss the disputed content on the talk page and try to reach some consensus there instead of warring about it. If the edit war continues I will have to fully protect the article. a request from User: Vaoverland
Hi! I have been working on Wikipedia: WikiProject Virginia and several other projects with User: No1lakersfan most of this past year. He is now a high school senior hopping to gain admittance to one of Virginia's public university for the Fall 2007 semester. Following advice, he has done maintenance and reference adding work, as well spending time on articles. He is a good collaborator and I believe he would enhance our efforts with WP as an administrator and use the additional tools and powers wisely. Since you know me from our past communications, I wanted to request that you consider entering a vote, hopefully in support, if you agree with my judgment and recommendation at Wikipedia:Requests for adminship/No1lakersfan 2.
- Please feel free to communicate with me on my Talk page at User talk: Vaoverland if you have any questions or reservations. Best wishes for a safe and happy holiday season. Thanks, Mark in Historic Triangle of Virginia Vaoverland 23:17, 20 December 2006 (UTC)

- I'm going to offer SPUI another tag to use. {{art}} After finding it on the Somerset Freeway article, I thought it would be more appropriate. In fact, I'm going to consider reviving some of my previously deleted images with this tag as well. DanTD 16:57, 10 January 2007 (UTC)
New Florida signs needed
Hey, SPUI. I noticed you did all the Florida signs. They look great, but I was wondering if you could make some for the following roads? We need them in infoboxes: SR 651, SR 620, Pinellas County Road 611, and Pinellas County Road 183. That'd be greatly appreciated.
Also, I was noticing, some of your toll signs are the incorrect color. They look great also, but some of them have a black outline of Florida when some (not all) should have orange. The way you can tell which one's which is by who owns the road: if FDOT (Florida's Turnpike Enterprise) owns it (like SR 589, some of SR 417 (the parts outside Orange County), SR 568, etc.), the outline's black. However, if someone else owns it (SR 618 by Tampa-Hillsborough Expressway Authority, SR 408, SR 528 (outside of Orange County), and SR 417 (Orange County potions) by OOCEA, etc.), the state outline is orange. Hopefully, that's helpful to you, and take it as you may. Talk to you soon! EaglesFanInTampa (formerly Jimbo) 16:01, 12 January 2007 (UTC)
Orphaned fair use image (Image:Pennsylvania Turnpike logo.png)
Thanks for uploading Image:Pennsylvania Turnpike logo.png. The image description page currently specifies that the image is non-free and may only be used on Wikipedia under a claim of fair use. However, the image is currently orphaned, meaning that it is not used in any articles on Wikipedia. If the image was previously in an article, please go to the article and see why it was removed. You may add it back if you think that that will be useful. However, please note that images for which a replacement could be created are not acceptable under fair use (see our fair use policy).
If you have uploaded other unlicensed media, please check whether they're used in any articles or not. You can find a list of 'image' pages you have edited by clicking on the "my contributions" link (it is located at the very top of any Wikipedia page when you are logged in), and then selecting "Image" from the dropdown box. Note that any fair use images not used in any articles will be deleted after seven days, as described on criteria for speedy deletion. Thank you. Image:Blues_Brothers_Wacker_south_end.jpg
Thanks for uploading Image:Blues_Brothers_Wacker_south_end.jpg. I notice the 'image' page specifies that the image is being used under fair use, but its use in Wikipedia articles fails our first fair use criterion in that it illustrates a subject for which a freely licensed image could reasonably be found or created that provides substantially the same information. If you believe this image is not replaceable, please:
- Go to the image description page and edit it to add
{{Replaceable fair use disputed}}
, without deleting the original Replaceable fair use template. - On the image discussion page, write the reason why this image is not replaceable at all.
Alternatively, you can also choose to replace the fair use image by finding a freely licensed image of its subject, requesting that the copyright holder release this (or a similar) image under a free license, or by taking a picture of it yourself.
If you have uploaded other fair use media, consider checking that you have specified how these images fully satisfy our fair use criteria. You can find a list of 'image' pages you have edited by clicking on this link. Note that any fair use images which are replaceable by free-licensed alternatives will be deleted one week after they have been uploaded, as described on criteria for speedy deletion. If you have any questions please ask them at the Media copyright questions page. Thank you. ˉˉanetode╦╩ 09:47, 28 March 2007 (UTC)
