California's 3rd congressional district

California's 3rd congressional district is a California Congressional District that covers most of Sacramento County as well as Amador County, Calaveras County, and Alpine County. Since 2005, Republican Dan Lungren has represented the district. George W. Bush received 58% of the vote in this district in 2004. The district has a Cook Partisan Voting Index score of R +7.
