"My Pretty Seahorse" is a SpongeBob SquarePants episode from season three.
Brief summary: SpongeBob is planting flowers, but they all get eaten. He investigates, and finds a seahorse. They become friends, but Mr. Krabs wants to get rid of it.

While trying to brighten Squidward's day by planting flowers for him, Spongebob is interrupted by a beautiful seahorse, and Spongebob immediately falls in love with her. However, after naming his friend and bringing her to work with him, trouble emerges.

- The scene where Mystery paints a nude portrait of SpongeBob is a reference to the scene in the 1997 film Titanic in which Jack paints a nude portrait of Rose.
- The scene where SpongeBob is deciding what to name the sea horse while sitting against a rock with a notebook is likely a take-off on Dances With Wolves.
[edit] Trivia/Goofs
- At the end, Mystery eats most of Mr. Krabs' money, but it returns afterwards.
- Mystery reappears in the GBA video game SpongeBob SquarePants: Battle for Bikini Bottom.
- At one point when SpongeBob is patiently waiting for Mystery to come near him, he has a moustache, which was possibly done for comic effect.
- Flowers are not usually seen in the front of SpongeBob's house. In this episode, the flowers are there when SpongeBob smells them after they bloomed.
